The series aims to to bring the Māori narrative to the foreground. Most schools, until recently, taught a very colonised view of Aotearoa history. This work aims to provoke people into shining the light on Māori histories and encourages more Māori forward projection and momentum.
The series has been one of the most popularly viewed works in the whare toi and on our digital platforms.
